About Us

Who are we?

Brunel water services is a Bristol based water hygiene company.

The company was formed in 2021 by Jon Barton who has more than 14 years experience within the industry.  We specialise in legionella risk assessments but also offer other water hygiene services such as clean and disinfections, remedial work, servicing, PPM work and consultations.

Work is carried out in accordance with ACopL8 and HSG 274. Please see the links for these documents at the bottom of this page.

Why choose Brunel Water Services?

We aim to keep the process as simple as possible, without the need for elaborate and costly control measures.

As a small company we are able to keep our costs low and pride ourselves on being price competitive.

Our risk assessment document  is concise and only contains relevant information.

Peace of mind

Have confidence in your water system.  We use UKAS accredited laboratories for all water samples.  We can sample your water system and provide help and guidance interpreting the results.

Guidance documents

Other guidance documents are used depending on the water systems on site. For example when risk assessing cooling towers, HSG 274 part 1 document will be used. For  miscellaneous systems HSG 274 part 3 is used. There are also guidance documents for spa pools (HSG 282). Hospital and medical settings (HTM_0401 part A, B, C) and so on.
